Every format your agency encounters

Eclipse, ProCAT, and StenoCAT already output standard audio — those just work. It's the proprietary containers that cause pain. DepoAudio handles them without opening the CAT software.

.sgmca Stenograph · Case CATalyst ● Supported Ogg Vorbis with a 96-byte proprietary header — stripped automatically. The most common format for CATalyst users.
.trm .ftr For The Record · FTR Gold ◐ Experimental Non-standard AAC codec tag (0x4180). Drop all .trm segments for a session together and they convert in sequence.
.bwf CourtSmart · Various courtroom ● Supported
.dm Stenovations · DigitalCAT ◐ Experimental No public spec — please file a GitHub issue with test results.
.dcr Liberty · High Criteria / BIS Digital ℹ Export first DCR files require the free Liberty Court Player to export. Open in Liberty Court Player → File → Export → WAV, then drop the WAV files here.
.aes Eclipse CAT · AudioSync ✕ Encrypted AES-128 encrypted. Export first: File → Export Audio → WAV in Eclipse, then drop the WAV into DepoAudio.
